Not too long ago I read Jon Kabat-Zinn’s book Wherever You Go, There You Are. I thought it was excellent.
I’ve gone back to an earlier book of his, Full Catastrophe Living. The book first came out around 1990. I kept seeing it in bookstores but I couldn’t get past the title. I was simply too stubborn to take it seriously. Ouch.
So 25+ years later I’m reading the “revised and updated” edition with great interest and commitment. I’ve also enrolled in Part I of the mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program the book describes.
