Keeping My “Head in the Game”

Much good work is being done these days in the area of “mindfulness”.

Working in Northern Alberta, this theme gets repeated to us daily from our safety officer: “keep your mind on your task” “keep your head in the game”. Up here circumstances routinely present themselves such that you can lose a thumb, an eye or your life if you don’t keep focused.

Mindfulness affects everything: Our productivity at work; Our relationship with our spouse and children; Our capacity for peace.

In my own work with mindfulness I’ve discovered both the need and potential to vastly improve my capacity to focus and live in the present moment.

I was excited to learn about the work a former colleague is doing in the area of Mindfulness in the Workplace. Check out Vince Brewerton’s work at Imagico,
