It is the oldest of political jokes: vote and vote often. Sometimes it is allowed (hint, rhymes with roxy) :

If you’re like me, you know someone who will be out of town not only on Municipal Election Day, October 27, but also was away throughout the advance polls.

Well, wasn’t I happy to learn from our helpful Town Staff about Proxy Voting.

If a person eligible to vote can’t make it to the polls, they are allowed to assign someone else, a proxy, to vote on their behalf.

So on election day I’ll legally (and morally!) be casting more than one ballot – I’ll be casting my own, and I’ll be casting one as a proxy.
